My TT stang dyno. 550RWHP...STOCK shortblock! *VID*

Its crossed my mind :D

Hmm, im not too far off from your pump gas #s though...just another 58HP left to go I think. :nice:

Dont worry, unless I find a way to get more boost...your safe. :rlaugh:

11.9PSI was all she would get on the dyno :(

Go for it! Your car is begging to get forged. I'd love to see what it can make on MANLY boost levels. :spot:

I'm seriously thinking about selling my KB 2.6H early next year for a 2.8H. Gotta make good use of my engine and return style fuel setup.

Thanks everyone for the complements...I REALLY appreciate it :flag: Just a few years ago....even last year...I would have NEVER thought I would be pushing it. I had actually planned to stay @ 420RWHP when we first started building the system.

Wastegate blockoff plates :D

AWESOME numbers dude! Really makes me wonder what my car is gonna put down with similar boost (in other words 2-3psi more actually LOL) and stock block (I'm going for broke on the stock bottom end I think, it would be fun to save I've popped a motor ;)).

:rlaugh: And you know whats bad....even if I did block them off, it wouldnt make anymore on the dyno :( My boost controler is set to not open them at all until 12PSI of manifold pressure.
i didnt know you were going to go for some big cheese as well! :nice: My advice is to back the A/F down to 10.5 at least and no more than 15*s timing.

Im very anxious to see what the custom cams do in place of the VTs.

This has got to be some kind of record for the most HP on a stock block... DAMN!

Awesome man, great work!

Yep, so am I. NOONE I ahve seen has ever made a REAL before/after run of non turbo cams vs turbo cams. Some intend to, but wind up throwing heads on or a forged motor. Im ONLY changing the cams and required valve springs....and retuning to the previous A/F if needed. That way its only the cams making any diffence :nice:

It may be the most powerful alive stock motor...and if not its in the top % thats for sure. I think one made 617RWHP on the dyno, but popped on like the next run...so not sure if that counts. thats the only one I have heard off thats making more.

I hate you.

jk .. Sounds sick!! I like that gauge/bc, who makes it?

Its a turbosmart, Eboost2 :flag: I love it...very useful. And thanks!

Heh, you dont want to push me there. ;) When it goes Forged, my goals change. And they change to letting everyone know exactly how much RWHP twin T-61 turbos are capable of supporting :nice:

2.8 baby! Thats where its at. But I still think something is wrong with your 2.6...iv seen just teh other day, some guy online that put down 7XX RWHP with the 2.6.

that's very impressive....I'm interested in hearing your theory on how to keep a
2v together at your hp level

Rich A/F, low timing, low RPM....in otherwords, prevent detonation and dont over rev and it will be fine. (aka its all in the tune)
I dont want to get too much into all of my other detailed thoughts on whats safe and whats not...but thats the just of it. I look at other setups and compile a safe boost/timing/AF database as well....I really dont look at HP #s. I mainly worry about how much actual airflow is going into the engine and determine a safe timing and A/F based off of that.

Link??? Havent seen that one before.

I always thought it was odd how there are other MPH KB 2.2L cars w/stage 2 heads making more power than mine, though 100 degree temps certainly didn't help. But a few weeks ago, Tim did tell me he knows how to get another 40rwhp out of it. I think it just needs some more tweaking, but I may just skip that and go straight for the 2.8H....we'll see.

Ill try and find the link to that car for ya lasered. And I know what Tims secret is....its 50*s cooler :rlaugh:

98, smaller than a 3.12  ! Your already seeing 13PSI with that combo right? Listen to benny...think "GI JOE" He makes some good stuff.

Yeah he does I just got mine in the mail last week! I can't wait to get it on the car now!!!! I went with a 2.6RR pulley, and a 10% overdrive pulley for the crank.
