Yeah i tell ya, life is hard having a stiffer/lighter chassis and less creeking and flexing....if my car gets any lighter than 2800lbs i don't know what i'll do!!!![]()

Probably not carry anything bigger than a set of golf clubs in the trunk, that's what.![]()

And while you're strapping your Drag Radials to your roof and trunk lid, the hatch guys are pointing and laughing all the way to the track with theirs nicely tucked away inside the car.....along with a cooler full of beer and snacks to boot.Eh who cares, trunks are for batteries and fuel cells :Zip2:

Can i get a show of hands of how many people (coupe owners) have opened their trunk in the dead of winter to get something out, only to find that the shocks have failed and their trunk lid falls and smacks them in the back?
Nobody?![]()

On a similar note, you definitely do not want your hand caught by a hatch with weak shocks. You might not get that hand back. lolCan i get a show of hands of how many people (coupe owners) have opened their trunk in the dead of winter to get something out, only to find that the shocks have failed and their trunk lid falls and smacks them in the back?

AMEN BROTHA!!!
I don't know why people complain about not being able to fit groceries in the back of the notch... i always shop at costco (bulk) and pack everything into the stang... you just have to know how to fit everything back there.
