3.73 Where to get it done

I know i've seen posts of where people got it done for what seems like an insanly good deal, but i've called around and the cheapest i've got was 800 from Fast Specialties. I live in Portland Oregon and would like some help finding a place that would do it right and not for almost a grand. For that much it just seems like a huge waste of time and money.

try a ford dealership. my local quoted me a install price of around $300 BUT you get a warranty on that. so if its not right , you can take it back!

I tried that, it was 1000 to swap stock gears and more to swap 3.73's. I just called up AFP and they said 340 plus 20 for fluid and 20 for speedo gear, im going for that.

with the other guys you might as well buy a whole rear end for a little more.

RNH Performance in MD and PA was $250 for my car. They did a great job. $1000 is nuts.

Its not like it takes 12 hours for the install.

Just don't take it to sime guy who "knows" what he is doing... I did that and got buned pretty badly...

Got it done for 405+tax, My best time is 14.3. Only have a CAI Headers and a catback exhaust. So we'll see what i can do with these 3.73's this friday. Keep you posted
