I'm torn on what mod to buy next for my car. I was thinking of either some slicks and 15" drag wheels for the rear so I can put regular street tires on my deep dish rims, or a Nitrous system. I've seen an NX fogger wet system that I like, but have never used nitrous before, so I am a little nervous about that. It's just so impressive, the power to dollar ratio that you get out of the gas. Or, if there's something new and great that I don't know about in the $600 range, throw that up as a suggestion! I just want to get into the 12s!

im for the shoes personally. i remember you sayin a couple years ago when i was talking about spraying "bottles are for babies, real men get blown."

like the difference between driving a car thats always fast, or a car that canbe fast.
even though yours aint no ho regardless:D

now after ive completely built the car then sure, why not? just imho.

Looks to me like your drag radials are working pretty well if you are running 13.2 at 102mph. That's what, a 1.8 60' time? Are you traction limited at all, or running all out?

I think you'll need a few more hp to comfortable and regularly run 12s, as 102 isn't all that fast.

The 315s hook pretty damn good, if I do say so myself. My best 60 foot to date was a 1.79, and that 13.2 run was a 1.87. If I dump at 5500+, they spin, so I usually launch at 4500-5000 rpm. I was looking more towards getting some major launches in at 6k, and also to get some regular street tires on my deep dish wheels, so I am not as petrified of the rain.

Well, it looks like tires come first for sure. I was walking out to the car at work today, and noticed a string poking out of the driver's side tire. I have no idea how to tell when drag radials are done, except when they start showing string :) I think I'm just going to get some cheap 315s for these wheels, and some Bogarts in a 10" wide, for some nice tall slicks. What backspacing should I get on the drag wheels, so I don't rub on anything?
