 :rlaugh:

So, anything I should be aware of for a late-October night game? How will the temperature be?.. I'm also going to visit Fenway and all kinds of stuff in Boston and the surrounding area. Gonna go eat at Anthony's Pier 4 restaurant one day.

Late Oct? Dress warm it will be dam cold. The game I went to was during the day in Oct and I was pretty chilled, Im a Mainah so Im used to it being cold and I was still cold.

So my dad and I (Arkansans who are used to 100+ temp a few months a year) are going be rather cold, huh? It's usually around 60 or so down here in October. Will it be around 35-45* then?

Yeah at night it will drop down below 50 easily. Maybe not below freezing but you knever know, we were getting snow on Nov 1st last year. Either way your probably going to freeze your ass so dress warm, it was in the mid 40's to mid 50's here this morn depending on where you are. It is warmer down in Mass then here but at night its going to be cold anyway. I was fine until the sun set behind the stadium after that the temp's dropped.

Yep. Lot's of brand-spankin' new football fans that began watching in 2001.
Exercise caution and do not wear any "Yankee" gear.

Dang! I can't remember the year, but i've been watching football since I was a little kid. '94 or sometime around there when the Cowboys were so dominant. Then I remember seeing Favre and Elway win the big one. But i'm a Pats fan, so luckily i'm not one of those people. lol

Note to self: Leave NY Yankees hats at home and pick up Sox hat at Fenway on way to Hotel. :D

I actually wear nothing but Yankees, STL Cardinals, and Patriots hats. Odd selection, I guess

No big shock there. What are the Giants to do now? Oh well never to early to wave the white flag.

I never really paid attention to football much until I started playing in the 6th grade, Ive always followed it quite a bit since then.

Wish I could've played football when I younger :(.. I always wanted to be a middle linebacker.

*gulp gulp gulp*.. That ship's a goner.. "You sunk my battle ship!!", says Tom Coughlin.

Just giving you a hard time G-men fans. :nice:

I predict that the Giants will be fighting Washington for the bottom of the basement spot in the division. Eagles were looking really good at the end of the year and look good now and I think Dallas is ready to make a run for the Superbowl. Would be picture perfect for me for the giants to miss the playoffs finish under .500 and last in the division

I think the G-men will finish 8-8 at best. I'd love to see a Patriots-Cowboys Superbowl, with the Patriots stomping them as bad as they did last year. :D

I just think it'll be tough for the Giants to beat the Steelers, Dallas either time, Philly either time, Minnesota, and the Redskins more than once. They should be able to beat St. Louis, Cincinnati, 49er's, Baltimore, and Arizona. I'm undecided on the games against Cleveland, Seattle, and Carolina though; Carolina has looked really good so far and Cleveland almost came back to win that game the other week, would've had they not put themselves in such a big hole in the beginning. It'll be quite a difference without Umenyiora and Strahan out there.

Now that Merriman may be out for the year, I don't think the Pats will have a problem with them. I'm just worrying about the Colts and Steelers; those seem to be the only teams on the schedule that can possibly give them trouble. Prety easy schedule this year for them, imo. 15-1 or 14-2 is what I think it'll be.

Thats what I'm thinking, 15-1, 14-2.....dare anyone say 16-0 ?

A lot of people have said it.. but common sense tells you they'd probably be relieved to lose one along the way after they secure homefield advantage in the playoffs

Chris Carter said his game of the year to watch was week 17 vs Bills. Do I think they'll go 16-0? Nah.. but anything is possible, especially if Merriman is gone for a year and they get past the Colts. But i'm lookin at 15-1/14-2.. I hope they win the game i'm at or i'll raise hell

I wish they had more of a challenge in their division. Sucks playing these crappy teams twice a yr then playing the harder teams in the playoffs. I think that showed last season they seemed to struggle more in the playoffs. I don't want them to breeze through the reg season b/c of playing teams w/ key injured players. Anything can happen its the NFL hell they could go 8-8 this year we don't really know
