i just pulled the trans yesterday. i am putting a 3600 stall and long tubes with o/r h on the car in a few weeks. i the trans has a b&m shiftkit in it and not sure what else has been done. i have stock 3.27's on a full weight convertable. what can i expect of the performance i will gain. i have o/r h and 1 chambers on it now with a j mod on the trans.

ditch the shift kit and do a j-mod.... also with a stall like that you probably dont need the 4.10... id go 3.73 unless you just want to never be able to trap over 105ish... with the 4.10 in my 04 with a TR-3650 5800rpm is 108mph in 4th gear....

what is wrong with the shift kit. i did the j mod on my trans now and like it. but my trans is going on his car and i am getting his along with the stall. also i have not been on a dyno. on a b&m shift kit does it keep the stock seperator plates or no

if i was to put a 99 cobra motor in this, would this stall still be good to use or would i need a lower stall speed what about ported heads and a cam swap with aftermarket intake.

Since my little 98 is torn all the way down, I really don't think installing a t/c would be a hard task. I have the block out of my car and I can't see me installing it without installing longtubes since I am at this point :rlaugh:

I am also in the Houston "area" and do my own work and have helped a few people with misc installs :nice:
