tax season!!! what's everyones plans with the extra cash?

most of my refund will go to bills and some will help pay for my trip home in May.

I usually get about $3500 back. I just bought new wheels and tires, and I hope to finish the stang stuff: fix the coolant leak and tranny valve body, get new front seats and have it painted. Then it should finally be nice enough to where I can actually drive it and get some interested buyers for it. I am going to sell it to get the money to finish the Fairlane.

The wife gets none of this because she just got the VW Cabrio she has always wanted form the money Progressive gave me when my Camry was totalled, so she's happy.

hmmm do i hear a vr6 swap in the cabrio?

I'm a fox guy but I'll still be throwing on some 2 piece rotors, edelbrock performer RPM II intake Black powdercoated version, AFM power pipe and DBX mass air. Then get the car dyno tuned.

Also got a small canopy and windscreen to use as a temporary garage. I still need to get the rest of my exhaust and a short throw shifter.

Already got my wheels just waiting for winter to break, so I can install them. I CAN'T WAIT TO PUT THEM ON.

New deep dish 17x10.5 with the NITTO's for the rear.... Cobra bumper, new hood, and maybe a wing if money is sufficient.
I thought I was getting a lot, but people on here are starting to make me feel poor.
well....I am... There's no such thing as a rich college student. Or at least a full time student.
But hey!
After I get my bachelors (Major in Aerospace Engineering), I'll be racking in the $$$$
So I can be poor for now

i did most of mine last night ... it looks like i'll be getting about $3300.

but i just bought new wheels and tires, so there goes 800.

then there was the cost of the straightening things out with the maryland MVA and getting the title for my wife's new car (2000 Cabrio), that took a grand and 6 hours of sitting in line

then there is doing whatever i need to do to get the caprice my son drives through emissions

then there is the mustang that needs a coolant leak fixed, the shifting issue addressed, the radio working, the seats recovered, and new paint

how about getting a cover for the fairlane? or making some progress on its restoration?

did i mention getting the bathroom ceiling fixed and the walls repainted?

i also need to get some hardwood floors refinished, new cabinets in the kitchen, and a granite countertop

somehow i don't think my tax refurn is going to cover it all

Ill finally be ditching my SCT chip and going with a Tweecer. I have a buddy with a dealer license so the rest of the tax money im going to but some cheap cars to resell as kind of a side investment. For instance he just bought a Clean 97 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer for $900 and sold it within 2 days for an easy $2000. So my tax return is going to become a second job where most of the profits will probably be dumped into my car and Alcohol.

Tune is done and worth every dime. 443hp and 410tq on a Mustang Dyno. Car idles and drives awsome. Was still making power at 6000 but now I need to get bigger injectors and a nice block. Not bad for a daily driver though.

Wife and I are in 6 figures.. we haven't gotten a "refund" in years. No kids, not enough house, etc, etc. we are taxed pretty high.. but hey we got steady income and few bills, so it's all good.
