just as the title says, im contemplating selling or parting out my fox and getting myself into a 94-95 cobra, this thing would be the real deal. its just a thought right now but ive been looking around at cobra rollers and have found some in good shape. i love my fox but they are everywhere, i kinda wanna do something different. i was thinking a black cobra with pro stars and a nice cowl, with a windsor base with nitrous or a turbo setup. so, how many of you guys think im nuts? anybody have any pics of black 94-98 cobras setup like i described?

hope you didnt get this idea from this car

Plan sounds good but its all talk until we see pics!!

do what makes you happy dude... we're young enough now where there are plenty of toys ahead of us before we're too old to enjoy them

you may have seller's remorse but when that happens just buy parts for the cobra

if global warming doesn't kill us all first :hide:

haha, sorry i had to :nice:

You guys all realize that a 94-95 Cobra is nothing more than a curvier Fox with GT 40 stuff under the hood, 5 lug wheels, and better brakes, right?

I say go for what makes you happy. I wouldn't mind rocking a 94-95 Kewbra. The cool thing is, most people will mistake it for a Mod motor car, when really a big pushrod will be lurking under the hood. Very cool!

Its not a bad idea, but dont part out your fox unless you are in either of these situations:

You can remove all the valuable aftermarket parts and replace them with stock stuff and in turn sell the car complete, in more stock form...

OR

Your fox is in some way damaged beyond reasonable repair and is not worth much whole.

Otherwise, what is the point in taking apart a perfectly good fox?

I have no issue with the car, I love the SN95, specially the 5.0 variety(long as it don't have those goofy 3 spoke wheels, don't know why Ford kept trying to make that happen, 82/83 Foxes too). Its just that this man was clearly into the beer in the back of the fridge.

:notnice:

You're the last person on stangnet that i'd expect to hear that from.

i wouldnt trade my pos fox for a cobra, corvette, enzo, or the friggin space shuttle... why? because its MINE, I worked my ass off, 60-70 hour weeks, and bought it when i was 19, I built it, I know every little piece of it, I am part of it. to me everything else, is just a car.

i drive my fox b/c its loud, obnoxious and uncomfortable, and its unlike any other mustang, i like that i can pull into a gas station between a 16 y/o girl and with her 96 v6 and a 50 something guy with his brand new 09 GT. and they will both be like "wtf is this thing? why are my eyes burning?"

:D

AHAHAHAHA, who said all that?

if global warming doesn't kill us all first :hide:

your a dick lol.

Put down the beer, and back away, slowly.

lol good advice

the thought process behind this decision is this... my fox, when i got it, was not what i really really wanted, i really wanted a black on black coupe, but i let myself get rushed and got the gt. as can be seen i fell in love with it and went all out, started the whole engine bay project and all that. now that its "done" i am still back to wanting something different. EVERYONE i know has a fox, hell my best friend has the same exact car as mine. Not only do i want something different, but i am starting to think i went in the wrong direction with the fox. what i have i love, but i need something more. idk, i get like this every 6 months or so... we'll see. If i do do a 94-95 it will be just as nice as my fox but i am going to spend more time and utilize the knowledge i gained by wrenching on the fox. Hidden wires, smoothed bay, all the cool stuff will make it into the sn95. Idk guys, as it stands right now the fox isnt going anywhere unless i find a killer deal on a 94-95. But i am going to keep my eyes open.

Where i'm from, everyone and their mother has an SN95. Nobody has Foxes.

In my local club, i think i'm one of 2 Fox Mustangs guys. Everyone else has an Sn95...esp a 99+ GT or an 05+
