Bluffing024 *OFFICIAL* 2009 NFL Thread

Eli = teh suck. Hes playing like the eli we all truly know he is. High passe's leading to INT's. He never throws to his receivers, his receivers are always having to jump up to get receptions. I dont know why the announcers seemed so shocked that he threw 2 high floaters down the middle of the field back to back (one being an INT) when the hell does he not throw high

Still sore about 2/3/2008? I guess that hurt you for life.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Giants are in big trouble. Multiple failures on both sides of the ball. They will probably lose next week also from what I see and go into their bye at 5-4.
On Offense: Eli has been throwing some awful passes including some that were just plain bad decisions. The Oline has not been able to open lanes for Jacobs.
On Defense: No doubt they have the slowest LB's in the NFL. Maybe when Boley comes back it will improve but it needs more than just 1 player. Except for Terrell Thomas and Corey Webster, the secondary just sucks. The Dline has not been able to pressure anyone. Osi is not his old self.
Special Teams: They are not playing well at all in kickoff coverage.

Coughlin has a LOT of work to do to fix this situation. It may not be coaching though. It seems more like players aren't executing and that's plain scary.

Ive hated him since he pulled his bitch move in the draft and cried like a bitch b/c he did not want to go to SD. Has nothing to do with the superbowl. Hes been over rated since day 1

Has nothing to do with the superbowl? You are full of poo-poo.
So, as far as the draft goes, did you also hate John Elway for doing the SAME to Indy?

I was not watching football when elway was in the draft. Im not full of poo poo its that you just hate it when what I say about eli all along comes out true more times then not. How can you deny the fact that he has a severe problem of over throwing receivers and the only reason hes even considered a good QB is for the fact that his receivers have been good enough to go up and get the balls that he throws high. I dont see Eli dropping the ball into a receivers hands in at full speed down the sideline from 40 yards away. If it had anything to do w/ the SB for anyone I hate it would be Tyree not Eli. Tyree is the one who made that impossible catch, not like it was a perfect throw that Brady could not even dream of throwing. It was.....ohh gee another high pass that Tyree went up and pulled down on the side of his helmet. That was the play that kept the drive alive and lead to the winning TD.

Then you haven't been watching. Today he completed one just as you described to Nicks and had another perfectly thrown long TD pass dropped by Steve Smith. Eli has lead his team to the playoffs 4 straight years and won the Superbowl. He's not great but he's good enough. Not every QB can be Brady or Peyton.

You have only been watching football since 2000. So, the only QB you are really familiar with is Brady. News Flash: Those type of players don't come along very often.

I'm damn glad the Giants have Eli. Before him we had Brown, Kanell, Graham & Collins.

No matter what Eli does, you will always hate him and that's good. He basically made you his biotch in Feb. of 2008 and that's really all that matters. :)

I'm not gunna lie.. When the Saints manhandled our D and exploited how hurt we were and weak at secondary, I hit the panic button...

if something doesnt happen we're done.. Period... Not saying im writing the Giants season off just yet but i'm damn close..

Only thing that has me excited is that this is the first season ever i'm doing fantasy FB and i love it. My team is about to go 6-2 on a 5 game winning streak yea boyieeee!

In other news. Browns GM George Kokinis Fired yesterday.......that is all.

In response to rumors and reports that Kokinis was escorted out of the building today, the Browns deny those reports. Just say the D-bag was fired
