Bluffing024 *OFFICIAL* 2009 NFL Thread

Ok maybe a little early to write him off but I can't stand the jets and the media was ready to put him in canton a few weeks ago..

Sadly i think ryan, the media and jets fans have put way too much pressure on a young QB to perform like a vet.. Many got carried away with his first few games when teams did not have a lot of film on him, plus he got lucky with some almost picks in those games too..

He may end up being a decent qb in this league but he is not a decent qb right now.. He needs to learn to throw the ball away and stop forcing throws..

I 100% agree with this.

its unfortunate to place such great pressure on a rookie QBs.. Most will have growing pains. Its a learning process

You sure were quite when the Patriots didn't look so good...

Like SVT said there is not this "gang up on the patriots" mentality as there was before and there is no big injury to talk about. Like he said this thread was dominated by patriots talk the past 2 years and that left myself and him and the other patriots fans to set the record straight b/c of all the mis information. Im not always home on sundays I have to work some of them, I'm not here to post every TD they score or to sulk when they lose.

ofcourse all the pats fans hate the jets it all boils down to spygate. they all hate the ground mangini walks on.

so do we hate the jets b/c of spygate or mangini b/c in case you dont know mangina does not coach for the jets anymore. It was not the jets who started lies about spygate it was mangina.

And to correct you no that's not way pats fans hate the jets. Its exactly as SVT said, we dont like them b/c they are a division rival. I dislike the dolphins, Jets and Bills equally.

That was not a first down. That looks like a straight on shot to me and that's definitely short. Well I guess if your the steelers and your having trouble winning games b/c your team cant preform just cheat.

UGGGG...

I hated the jets long before spygate.. There has been bad blood since the parcells left after the superbowl and taking curtis martin.. then the belichick resigning and coming here added more fuel to the flames.. These two teams have tampered with each others personal for years..

Way before the whole spygate thing this mutual dislike has gone on.. I kind of like us being the hated pats.. it's fun.. Only thing that sucks is we lost a first round pick for doing exactly what every other NFL has done for 30+ years..

I don't want to rehash the argument from two years ago so just go read the 2007 thread but videotaping defensive signals went on way before spygate by all teams and it went on during spygate and it still goes on now..

My team does it your team does it... everybodys team does it..

3 walls and a roof my friend and it's legal.

What was illegal ( and only was enforced in week 1 2007) was to take the camera from the booth and use it on the sidelines.. anybody with a brain knows it's not possible to break down the film at half time and use it for the same game it was filmed in..

The reason why some teams including the patriots did that is many home teams would **** with your film crew and give them a booth that was facing the wrong way or obstructed.. Thats why the only time you would see the sideline camera is road games.

The matt walsh interview confirmed what I said about the tapes not being used in the same game.. He said the tapes were turned over after the game to the head of scouting..

That crap ESPN was talking about using it at half time is impossible.. and the disgusting thing is those former players and especially the coaches they employ KNOW THAT.

They wanted a big story and to create a bad guy team.. and it worked.. the whole thing was great for ratings.

I kind of like them being the bad guy team anyways... it's kind of fun.

Really? they shouldn't of even had a chance for that TD. They had 4th and 1 that the Steelers went for and the Browns stopped. It CLEARLY showed that they were short and yet somehow they gave them a first down. Total BS there. Even the announcers were amazed how they gave them a first down.

But yeah, you guys pretty much handed our asses on a platter. At least we kept the score close.

I agree on that one. I have no idea how they gave him that, I wasn't exactly close. They play before was a horrid spot so maybe it was a makeup call. Didn't matter though. I still say Cleveland should be using Quinn. Why not?

yea i figure this game and next week against denver will really tell what kinda chance the vikings have of making a good playoff run in the nfc this year. can't wait to watch this game.

Quinn does not fit into Manginis "play". :nonono: Heres my call on it. We are 1-6. Have not offence, have no chance for playoffs. Quinn is or was supposedly our franchis QB, yet you bench him after 2.5 games?
Now we see where Anderson is going.....again. :nonono: Sucks. Has one or two good drives during a game.......that''s it. Let's put Quinn in the rest of the season, see what he can do. We have nothing to lose, so why not.

Thats my point
