I tried to install my 347 to day but it's never that easy for me. First ,like the title said, my 7 qt oil pan hits the k-member. I think this would be the perfect time to do a k-member coilover setup, but I only had 3k to do this project and I just hit the 5k mark .Tomorrow, or really later on this morning were going to cut the piece of the k-member off that hits the the pan and hope for the best. I'm not going to be driving the car like this but I need to get the motor in before the guy that is helping me, moves out of state next week. I think I will order the QA1 k-member in a week or three. Its been six months since I ordered the short block, thinking i'll just throw my heads and intake on and be done.But with all problems like the oil pan,one head had a crack in it, two bent valves in the other head, getting the heads ported, forgetting about needing 28 oz flywheel and balancer, and for some reason the stock replacment motor mounts kicks the motor 1 1/4 inch to the passenger side of the car so the trans mount doesn't bolt up. It makes me want to just push it into the street and set it on fire.
