what would you choose?

I said shocks to, I was thinking there is a lot of load on all the coil over components compare to coil springs, I don't know. well any ways I found these nice looking coil overs from CA chassisworks, there called vari shock. they looked pretty nice no warranty though, around 900 for rear. you guys ever looked at these before

MM has triple reinforced bilstein shocks and struts for their coil overs kits

do you need to do any machine work for them to work with the coil over kit? I seen some kits that said some work was needed to the shock. this is what kinda scares me into wanting to buy a complete coil-over. it probably isnt nothing hard...right? I actually almost bought those varishock coil over today but my call got dropped and now I am trying to reconsider my options regardless of what I get I wanted to try to put the rear end this weekend or the following that is why I been trying to hurry. thank you for your suggestions so far

yea but I know on some race cars road-race, circuit-dirt and street, stock car and other classes that use coil-overs and shocks that need to be rebuilt every season or two. I have set-up all sorts of race cars, I don't know to much about street performance I know stock and full out race. I never set-up up a street suspension but know how to set-up basically any race car. I didnt think about him meaning maintenance like ride-height if thats the case that is no big deal I thought he was meaning you had to overhaul the coil-overs every so often. If having a little road noise and having to adjust ride height occasionally is all i have to do then I will probably get some.

all race cars are rebuilt every season or so...thats proper maintenance, and they fix whatever breaks during the season, you should monitor your parts regardless of application, dont just install it then let it go blind to you...look at how hard a race car is driven in comparison to most street cars...unless you just lay on it all the time, but still...i dont see any downside from running coilovers...overall stability is improved...all a road race car is, is a street car built to the max, its designed to turn and stop at high speeds, there is no downside...noise? maybe but who cares?...spring for the coilovers if you have the option, i would love to see more road race inspired mustangs around...

everything is pre-machined and ready to go

Well I bought my supsension at first i was planning on doing only the rear but decided it might be worth it doing all around, so I went over my budget. I bought koni DA shocks and struts, H and R springs, eibach sway bars, pro-link upper rear control arms, MM XD lower CA, and new isolators. I figured this is cheaper then buying coil-overs and with the koni shocks I can switch them over to coil over if I want in the future. so I spent around 2,800 for every thing
the only thing I dont have for suspension is front control arms. I am gonna put a aftermarket k-member in next winter so waiting to do that before I get new control arms. I already have 15:1 steering so should be pretty nice so now I have everything I need to put my car back together besides clutch assembly. I still need to put every thing in though. Thanks for your guys suggestions
