87GT Drop Top's slow build

I guess I should have started one of these threads a while ago. I will post some of what I already did and then of course my future progress. Here is what the car looked like when I bought it in April of 2009. I'm the second owner. I think I got a good deal. I paid $3700 for it. It had 91,xxx miles on it. It came with a folder of receipts an inch thick from everything that was done to it since new. It had a new top a new paint in 2005. The A/C compressor and accumulator was replaced in 2004. Also the radiator and water pump. Since 2004 the guy had only put 8,000 miles on it. I knew that from the mileage listed on the receipt from the Ford dealer from the A/C job. Here are a couple of pictures the day I brought it home.

I also have a DSS 331 stroker kit in the attic (that's where I hide the parts from my wife). I have a Cobra intake, upper & lower ported my Tom Moss. I also have a 70MM TB. I'm wanting to order up heads, a custom cam lifter, rockers and a timing set. I'm just waiting on FTI to get back to me. I will also be doing the suspension. I have a set of Vogtland lower springs and will be ordering J&M rear upper & lower control arms. I will be replacing the fronts as well, but not sure what brand. I also need to order all of the supporting stuff for the engine build. You know a MAF sensor, injectors, fuel pump, oil pump and whatever else I forgot to list. Then the only thing left will me a Cobra grill insert, which I already have and a Cobra R hood.
