I really hope the Vikes can fill the QB position with someone worth a chit soon. Their defense is aging, AP is likely close to or has surpassed his prime, and McKinney's replacement seems to be doing fairly well. In a couple years though, that team won't really have much talent left

Wow it's been a few years since I visited the official NFL thread. As a matter of fact I spent the entire 07 season fighting with RedLX (I think was his name) about the patriots and Giants; him being the Pats fan.

Then the Giants went on to win the SuperBowl against his beloved team; it couldn't have worked out better for me lol. I kind of left the official threads after that; you know "go out on top" but there's been something missing in my nfl season.

Welcome back! Yep, "RedLx" vanished for a few days. Came back, developed an unnatural hatred for Eli and then changed his user name. He has posted some weird anti-Eli stuff earlier in this very thread. BTW: The Giants's replacement slot receiver, Brandon Stokley, was just carted off the practice field. Doesn't look good. So many injuries. Hope you enjoyed the Eagles home opener last Sunday.

I didn't read any of the previous pages so not sure what the "another giants fan" is about but I was in here fighting for them back in the depths of '07 when everyone said they weren't going to amount to anything.

Regardless, I'm excited for this season even with half our team injured. But it seems to be a higher rate of injury across the league this year, so many teams dealing with the same thing. Lets see what Arizona brings this week.

Wow! Eli had another great game. He lead the Giants to 3 TD's in the 4th quarter to another win. What a game. Lead went back & forth several times.

packers still looking awesome but the lions have REALLY surprised me there offense is unbelievable this year..

Yeah, it's a debate to be held for "all time", heh.

Personally, I agree with you. However, in inspired moments, it's easy to set sights on the largest target on the sideline.

i really liked reid when he was at the packers i just think there in philly they are going the wrong way about things...like it or not this is a passing league now and i just don't think vick is there answer.

While Kolb is still developing with the Cards, he may have been the better choice for the Eagles, long term. However in today's win-now league they had to go for Vick. Vick has a history of injuries and sometimes plays dangerous. If he gets injured, the Eagles could lose 3 in a row.

I'm a Stillers fan but I have found myself watching less and less football over the past 2-3 years. Haven't watched a game yet this season (aside from a couple college games). I'm more likely to watch it with other people (at someone's house or a bar) than I am at home, and I do generally watch the playoffs and SB but that's about it I've barely posted in this thread the last couple years too.
