Build Thread "Rising from Ashes" 94 Cobra build thread

Damn, Gina! Your car is going to look sick. Most of the time anyone buffs black, all you see are the swirls.

I have a couple of painted pieces done. The sail panels have been wet sanded with 1500, 2000, 2500 and 3000, then buffed out.
Just gotta be patient and the rest of the car should look similar.

Thanks for the praise.
The fenders are primed again and bolted back on the car. Could be ready for a final blocking...we shall see.

Since its been off the road for two years on this build...I guess the Chevy windshield art is fitting.
I hid all the wiring running through the wiper motor cover and into the fender well. I need to properly deleted that bulge. Something that I should have done on the last car. Here is the start of that.

Its all starting to come together. I will be bolting some more pieces up toward week end and making sure everything fits like it needs to.

Paint that damn thing already, you friggin obsessive POS! I hope you have a clean room to keep it in when you are done! I dont think computer chips get the attention during production that you are giving this car!
I would completely agree with your statement...however, I still can't help it.
Got the trunk lid aligned yesterday by bolting up one of my taillight sets. Don't worry 94/95 tail light fans... I have those too.

Underside of the hood is ready for paint.

Also got my reworked wiper motor cover bolted back up and mocked up a strut tower brace. All went well.

Came across this thread while researching things for my wifes toy. Sorry about the loss of the 95 it was Sick looking, but man your 94 is going to look amazing (read all 34 pages). I take slight offence to the anti chevy dust art (and if you look at my profile, you'll understand why), but I can understand It's all good and all fair (every one who knows me knows I've said my fair share about mustangs and fords). But in all seriousness very nice work, I look forward to seeing how this ends.
