There was something mentioned about an acceleration comparison to see how the turbo fox does against a newer model. Any news on that front?

Well, I'm going to have to (A) pony up 780 bucks to renew my insurance on that thing .. so I can (B) Get tags and (C) inspection after I (D)make sure I've resolved my overheating issues.. OR.. my buddy with the new car can drive his rear down here for the comparison..:)

I can't imagine. I'm already carrying full coverage on four vehicles.. one a teen is driving, and soon to be a fifth. Heartburn is an understatement..
Wait until they have a fender bender...the next quote you get will probably send you straight to cardiac arrest..:( Very scary/stressful time when having teens drive. My son and daughter both had very minor collisions in their few years of driving(one is 22 other 19). I know what I was like and it has literally kept me up at night. After the boys accident My premium doubled. Now the boy is on his own...175$ car payment and 150$ a month car insurance. And my premium is still high even after they moved out and on their own. I haven't had a moving violation or accident myself in a loooong time. Oh did I say I hate insurance companys? Because I do. I really really do.

Oh man, I hate em too! With a purple and pink polka dotted passion! I once walked past a group of secrataries into a State Farm agent's big fancy office to fire him, lol. I rolled up my policy and tossed it in his lap, and told him to stick it. Worst insurance ever.

Inmysmallvoice "that's who I've got". I'm policy shopping asap. I'm tired of their rates. They dropped my brother because he unfortunately had a string of bad luck and ruined his credit rating. Never had a moving violation. Never had a claim! Never missed a payment to them. Most cautious driver I know but he has a poor credit score. Dropped. Wth? Doesn't seem right to me(it was explained to him he is now a "high risk")

Back to your barefoot shenanigans :spot:
See even that little dude has shoes:ack:

Fortunately, even though I have a 17 yr old kid our ins carrier allowed us to dis- include him from coverage on our cars, and only rated him for the 86 mustang that he is currently driving. It still drove our premium up 100.00 monthly though.

We have ALFA ins., ( stands for Alabama Farmers) which is a in-state provider. They have been consistently cheaper than any other nationwide provider, every time I check. ( go figure) How a provider that only caters to the populace of one state can be cheaper than another that has policies across the nation is beyond me, but I'm ok with that.

You guys may wanna check with similar providers in your state. if you aren't, your cheating yourselves.

Off to work!

Soooo. Is the airplane hangar all closed in and wired? Is the pink flare side up and running/ doing barefoot burnouts? Will the Turbo car be doing Turbo car things? Lol
:jester:

Well, I've been working closing in the garage to make bedrooms for the girls, because momma has been ON MY BUTT to get it done.

Going to paint that in the next day or so and start interior work, wall framing, wiring, etc. When that's done I will have permission the get back on the shop wiring. I am getting the turbo car inspected this weekend so i can legally drive it, though! My son's football team won district and are going to playoffs, so he's been toooo busy to wrench lately. I hope to be back on car stuff by Christmas.. hopefully.
