About to start drywall in the bedrooms. Been working a lot, so not much else going on. Pink truck is closer, we'll knock that out when the bedrooms are done, then go back to the fox body work. It's all painfully slow.

Ummmmm ok, since we are going old school carb and spark with it, the distributor wouldn't work, so i bought a new one for an older non tfi 302. A buddy of mine who loves to monkey with electronics came over and wired it up with a gm hei module. We rolled the engine over, and it works. I have a regulator im going to use to pull the factory fuel pump pressure down enought to run a carb, hopefully without boiling the fuel, we'll see. Just going to hose clamp rubber hoses to the existing efi hardlines... And i just got a carb throttle cable in from lmc truck, so it shouldn't be long.
Oh, yeah.. It has two tanks full of TERRIBLE smelling fuel, so we are going to have to drain that crap out and maybe rinse the tanks... That's all i got for now. SO sick of remodeling.. Very ready to get back on cars.

Because they are studs. There are 2x4x8 boards, and then shorter precut studs which allow for your top and bottom wall plates to finish out to 8'. I guess they dye them pink to avoid confusion on construction sites.
Pretty sure it's a fire resistant coating. A lot of our 5 story buildings use a lot of FR treated lumber. Many cities require it by code.

I'll have to test that theory with some leftover drops. If they don't burn I'm gonna have some full trashbags.

They're not my studs, they're my duaghter's studs, and if they are to be around studs, gay are the ones I'm cool with.
