What are your plans of coating everything after it is all welded/seam sealed? Etch and paint or a bed liner undercoat?

POR 15 to protect the metal, then I'll spray that thick crap that goes in the wheel tub area.

I still have to run a bead all along this thing. I just wanted to get it tack welded in tonight.

My goal is to finish both sides by Sunday sometime.

What do y'all think about 325 tires? They're not quite a 335, but they are bigger than 315's.

I suddenly find myself in the position to fit a 325 on a 12" rim!

It will be going back up on four jack stands for undercoating, then I get to put in my new ss brake lines and fuel system. Holy crap, I will be putting Doby together!

What do y'all think about 325 tires? They're not quite a 335, but they are bigger than 315's.

I would pick something you'll be able to locate when it's time to replace them.

Thanks Mike, I can't believe it's turning out so nicely at times.

I've never built my own ride before, I've always done it for others.

Cool stuff is all I can say.

All that is needed now is to get the suspension tuned so that the car handles decently and an engine that can smoke the tires at will...

Ahhhhhh, the engine. My little 5.0 with it's 350hp at the crank seems inadequate now.

Luckily the women in my life have made me feel that way for years, so it's like going home.
