Why set your sights so low? I've stated numerous times that my objective w/ regard to my work ethic is 80% of what most consider perfect. In real world terms for some folks,...that could be considered a hack. In the real world of the monster,... Only the Bondo Knows for sure....
Scott's car is perfection. As close to it as anyone can get anyway. A statement that testifies to the fact that you still have to have an eye for detail, and know what you're doing, even when you can afford to throw stupid money at a car that'll never be worth that much. That car is almost too nice to drive.
Of mine and his though,..it's no contest. While mine has a bunch of fab work that goes way off the charts,..it also will appeal to the few that want that goofy ass thing. Scotts car is a fox mustang lovers wet dream....Because of it's braod appeal, and outstanding build quality, His car will come way closer to his 60k investment if he ever sold it well before I'll ever recoup the 30k?

that's in the Monster.
Daves car will also be amazing in it's own right. I'm thinking that when it's done it'll drive better than it did when it was new, and Certainly look better than it did when it was new. (as long as he keeps those stupid TRX wheels off of it) And because of all of the ingenuity w/ regard to the restoration, and salvaging stuff most would have thrown away and bought new,....do it for a fraction of what it would cost somebody less crafty.
How much more powerful is it to be able to say that?....A car that will for the most part rival most mega thousand dollar resto's that he did for...What is it now Dave?.....2500? Including the price of the car?
Plus whatever it costs to get the drivetrain going, and your stupid TRX wheels reconditioned and add new rubber of course.
