Im trying, Im at the point to where I have to wait on someone else. I hate that. If my car didn't have those hail dents.......

I have ZERO experience in PDR repairs, although I would like to learn, just don't have the tools, and those tools are expensive!

I had to knock it out quick Blake, I got the commitment for the welder and I wanted it done while that commitment was still fresh in their minds.

Today begins the campaign to make them order my new welder!

BTW, it's really cool how your boss pushed for the complete on your mustang, I can't wait to see it done.

Pretty good deal you swung with the owners Dave. Yeah, he's a good dude man. I was stoked when he said to "get the f-er done!" Funny, now he's been keeping his eye out for a Fox. I took him for a ride in mine a while back and I think I sold him, especially since he's seen the progress Ive been making on mine.

Me too Stallion. I was thinking some sort of "Coffee-ish" metallic brown. I kinda like that color

Ok, opinion time.

I’m laying out different accents for the hood.

Obviously there’s a green and grey version of this.

Here’s an idea somewhat reminiscent of Booger’s hood. Everything inside the blue line would be grey.The GLX would go on the lower left front part of the helmet. It would stay green. Plus I could throw in a pinstripe around the grey as well. The shape of the grey could be adjusted too.

I’m just relaxing this morning trying to figure out what I want.

You know, the GLX could go on top to emulate the hood and the grey below the window would be like the center of the bumper.....

Maybe put a little ford emblem there?

Give me your opinions guys.

I like it! Put a GLX and a small Blue Oval emblem! Then when you go to cruises, you can put your welding helmet in there too. That would be cool to see.

I think it's a welding hood Dave. I think it's already past the point of true serviceability.
I think it's now like eating a hot dog off of fine China...or drinking a $100.00 bottle of wine out of a Dixie cup.

Remember that it's a welding hood.
Shts gonna spatter, sparks gonna fly, smokes gonna cloud, and heats gonna burn...

All that pretty paint up.

I like it! Put a GLX and a small Blue Oval emblem! Then when you go to cruises, you can put your welding helmet in there too. That would be cool to see.

Yeah, maybe add a stuffed doll, or a little model mustang car that you can set on your engine ( both painted green of course)
Maybe, have three green 1 gallon empty thinner cans, labeled slow, medium, and fast....it'd be bitchin'

That helmet, well, IMHO, it needs External Carbon Dioxide Injection,

Idea is:-

You grab a few window squirter jets, which are about 25 thou in diameter, hook it up to a solenoid and a C02 can and have it Pulse Width Modulate on a slow cylce like an ABS pump cylce. You probably don't spend all you time at 35 mph in blind alleys in wet fall days pushing the being jesus outa an ABS equiped cars Whoa Peddle like I do, but the Falcon, Toyota and Nissan ABS's cylce real slow like

Shhiiiiiiiiit pause Shhiiiiiiiiit pause Shhiiiiiiiiit pause Shhiiiiiiiiit pause Shhiiiiiiiiit pause Shhiiiiiiiiit pause.

That way you can kill off and resend the flying molten metal sparks that attempt to turn your helmet into Mount Etna.

You'd have to be carefull not to Over Do It Dave.

Oh yeah. This morning at 0403 my time, saw a shooting star (meteor). Atmosphere is great for burning out high velocity specs of welding slag hurtling through the universe.


The cat also needs a pinstripe too. Dave.

Red Rattle can or maybee proxide and box tint in red. There is tremendous value in having a customized Moggy (as long as PETA or the animal welfare doen't get all consumery over it).

I still need to come up with a roll of 1/2" blue fine line tape so I could make the GLX first. Monday I'll get some from work.

Unless your initIals are MM or CMA, yes, they are green.

Other people call it Gold.

I N.O.R.M.A.Ly keep away from the brown acid, um, green plant, um, synthetic weed, um, gold foliage.
