Heres the truth about a 351w swap!

I'm in Bardstown, @RaggedGT works Louisville, @COramprat claims "Health Spa's" (With happy endings) in Louisville.

@General karthief He is actually trying to route this thread back to a positive note and something that can turn into informative for everyone. He is a great member here and will do his best to help you in every way he can.

It is easy to get under these guys skin though, lets see if we can get more of what you are doing in here with these pictures. Check out my build thread in my signature to see what format most of us use (it is taken from @CarMichael Angelo because he has some really detailed things and found a great way to keep it all organized.)

I have a 95 vert and 01 coupe both 3.H8 in the garage now. I stick to V6 because most people will turn their noses up at them so I can get them for pennies on the dollar.....

The 01 Coupe is going to be the real build. We have to hit up the frame and cure cancer, I love that you mentioned that Stiffler's products are being used. I am looking to get the full 3 piece kit for the 01. That kit is the best I have seen for correcting the pinch rail, the sub frame and then connecting it all to start a solit base.

Well where was you at when I had questions lol
I've been here all along, been a member of this site 18 years and one of the moderators for 6.
And I didn’t start the argument by the way just posted facts. Some people don’t like that I guess.
Fake news.
See this is the problem. I post useful info and get a bunch of hate and I’m not supposed to say anything about it lol seems kinda one sided to me.
Ain't hatin.
Then why do you guys keep putting your 2 cents in? If your not interested move along!
Well, you see, me and @General karthief are two of the forum moderators here at Stangnet, and after @Noobz347 , probably the most active staff members on the site, we're interested by default.

Yo... moderator here and avid :lurk:er...
I in fact have a 351w based twin turbo swap in a 91.. *cough** convertible.. it can be done its easy to do and I did it for "cheap".

If your tuning it with EFI I will have plenty of input, if your not I will ask for silly things like pictures of the plugs ect so I can still help with the tuning.

9's should be easily do-able if you cant then something is very wrong

I'm not sure why I'm here.

Not interested in either substantiating or denying an argument based on no sources other than "this happened and... and..." or on information gathered on other 'sites'

"Like BookFace" *sung in Rudolph the Reindeer tune*

The InTErwEbZ can be tough.

Either you choose to create a build thread about it or you don't. We're happy either way. The mods in this thread can help if you require assistance getting a build thread created.

Good luck with your build!

Why are you here? To provide entertainment, which you have done. Thanks boss!

I always heard doing a Windsor swap in a SN95 was one of the easiest and simplest swaps you could do... That's why mine now has a 408W in it too LOL. And yes, it was a very easy swap and as you stated the drivers-side header is a little tight. Switching from EFI to Carb was a minor pain but no biggie. As far as keeping the fuel gauge working, just leave the ECU in place (even though it's not used) and your fuel gauge will continue to work. At least that was my experience. Going from a 3.8L V6 or 302 to a 351 is super simple since the motor mounts, bell housing patterns and most accessories interchange. Glad to hear it worked out well for you and good luck with your swap.

PS - The only easier swap was putting a Windsor in my 67... now that was literally a piece of cake! For those asking about power numbers my iron headed 408 made 420hp and 454tq. My Chinese aluminum headed 408 made 499hp and 484tq.
