Tonight's sampling...
Spiced Harvest Ale by Fordham/Dominion. Its their version of a pumpkin ale I suppose as it's an amber with cinnamon, clove, ginger, allspice, and pumpkin.
I like it, for what it is. I'm not a big pumpkin-head so I'm not gaga for it, but its good.

Tonight I'm trying the Hofbrau Oktoberfestbier.
Its good, nothing too remarkable though. To me, it tastes like any other Oktoberfest I've had.

It's been a long time... but I finally splurged on some New Holland Brewing Dragon's Milk.

I think I put this on before....... but I’ll do it again. Brewery in the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame.... Cooperstown NY. Ommegang brewery makes some real good stuff! This is one of my latest favorites.

The beer is good...again, like just about any other Oktoberfest I've had.
I got the shirt when we visited Colorado a few years ago.

Another hefeweizen "on tap" tonight...
This is from a local-ish brewery, 1623 Brewing Co. They're based in Eldersburg, which is just northwest of Baltimore, and about an hour from me.
I first tried this beer earlier this year at a local restaurant. I was shocked to see a hefeweizen at a regular restaurant here so I had to try it. I really liked it and even emailed the brewery asking if they had distribution in the area. The owner responded that they did have distribution in the region. I keep forgetting to check my nearby stores, but the Total Wine & More I recently visited did have their stuff.
The beer itself is good. Nice cloudiness, good taste, obviously would drink again.

I "won" this tonight...
We went to an Oktoberfest party that one of my fiance's friends threw and there was a beer holding contest. You just had to hold a stein full of beer out at arms length for the longest length of time without moving your arm. Well, I was last man standing at over 5 minutes...I was really eyeing this prize. Came with a glass stein to pour it in too.

Tried this for the first time tonight. A real good pumpkin beer from a local Long Island brewery out on the North Fork!

Okay, sho not beer related, but this seemed like the place to posht this...
I haven't had rum for... well... a long time. Made a trip to my favorite beer/wine/liquor store the other day, and among other things, bought some Cap't Morgan Spiced Rum. Haven't had any for tooooo long. Had a double-ish shot of it today after work and MAANNN that tasted good!
No, I don't know WHY the rum was gone?! It's back now!

Nothing goes down better than an ice cold Natty after working on the beast . Call me old school but it’s what I like .

Off topic , I put some Jegs lites on ( weld clones) - same height tires but in 15” - ( had 16” pony rims ) -
my car “feels” much more nimble and quick
