I feel like habu is saying he a wants quick, clean, reliable car on factory electronics.
But you guys are hearing, bigger better, faster custom, which is not what this type of engine is about. If that's what he really has in mind, he should just build it from the ground up, because 10 grand is not cheap.

I'd keep more simple.
30's or 36's (i know 30's work, i've spent the last 20 years with guys including myself (well, mine wasn't custom, ford racing B347 shortblock) with custom NA 347's that all made well into the 400's.
RPMII (maybe a victor, but i think that gives up some low end), intake, 70mm TB, 80mm calibrate maf.
Then it would be slapped in and driven that way, on the stock computer.
Then if he wanted it tuned go from there.
