Wheels-Tires What’s needed to fit a 18x10 wheel in the rear

I have a 92 mustang GT. I want to get the sve series 3 wheels for my Fox. 18x9/18x10 setup. What’s necessary to fit that on these cars? I have a 5 lug swap so I’m guessing sn95 axles.

My fenders are already rolled so I believe the only thing is the quad shock. Can anyone that has 18x10s with sn95 5 lug axles let me know if it sticks out too much, and if the quad shock can just be flipped ?

Also what size tire should I go with with that setup?

I have a 5 lug with SN95 axles on 8” wheels with 275/45/17’s and my fenders are rolled, but I still rub. Need to roll them more I guess. On large undulations (think coming in at an angle on a steeper driveway) they also rub on the inner fender liner. I’m no expert but I’m thinking you’ll have to do some more major type of modifications to get them to fit without rubbing. It could also depend on what springs you have (I run H&R’s) so I’m fairly low… I can’t wait to install my adjustable RLCAs so I can raise the back up a bit.

I currently have 17x9 cobra r wheels with a 275/40/17 tire. I don’t get any rubbing on the outside fender, I do though get rubbing on the inner fender liner when my car goes over bumps like you. I just need to hammer that a little. My current setup does not rub on the quad shock in the stock orientation. I have hr springs as well.

I honestly think it will work without removing the quad shock, just flipping it. For whatever reason my car seems to have decent clearance

You MAY have Fox length axles, can you confirm if they are Fox length or SN95 length? The SN95’s have a wider track which may be why I’m rubbing and you’re not. Just curious.

Measure for the right offset.
With the right backspacing a 18x10" rim will fit.
The tire size on that rim has the biggest influence on clearance in the wheel well.

How do you check this? Where do you measure from and what length am I looking for?

Thise were long gone by the time I bought the car. It has the Steeda upper and lower control arms and Steeda springs.
