Progress Thread “Rising from Ashes 2” 95 Saleen S-351 build

Well without further ado. Back to the build. Started back on the car December 2. Getting the epoxy primer sanded down and started the bodywork on the engine bay. Also blocking down epoxy on the hood. If you can see the back of the hood, you will see a giant fishbowl I’ll need to work out.

Let the body work commence. Blocking down the quarters to get started. The factory paint wasn’t too bad so I’m using it as my base to block down. The only issue with it was the top of the pass. quarter where the clear was peeling so I striped it just to be safe. I also went ahead and welded up the pass door lock and smoothed it out. Otherwise this is just the beginning of the body work

Doing what I call the extreme fender rolling. Where the fender lips become one piece and your not worried about ripples in the quarter because the whole area is getting work. Then getting to work on the doors.
