00 cobra engine in a fox?

would i beable to fit a 2000 cobra engine in a 88 fox? i know id need the computer and wiring, and proble weld new motor mounts...what else might i need?

There was no 2000 cobra, unless you are talking about the 5.4 in the cobra r. Don't know about the fit, but I am sure you would need all the accessories from that engine(unless you want to fab up brackets for everything like alt, a/c, power steering, etc).

How bout just get the Mach 1 motor 32v 4.6L at www.karkraft.com ...I think that is the link...they sell for a bit over $3000 brand new...

Yeah they didn't make any 00 or 02 (I think in Australia they are labeled as 02's) Cobras...

That would be so rad to have a Mach 1 motor/shaker in a Fox... that's really not a bad price either, you just have to factor in all the other crap you have to buy to get it in there.

stangparts.com have brand new cobra engines and trannys with the computers for 6k, is this good? i personaly thought it was considering i can get a custom built 302 with 450 hp for that same much but it wont come with a tranny.
