My buddy has a 02 GT that blew up his RAM clutch and needs a replacement and is looking into putting in a 03/04 Cobra clutch

His view point is if it can hold 390 hp/tq then its should handle his power

Im just not so sure putting any stock ford clutch back into a mustang

What do you all know about a stock 03/04 cobra clutch , is worth putting in a GT?

He doesent have any power adders, just LT with matching X and a programmer.

Thanks

A T56 in a Camaro/TA is hydraulic but in a mustang all are cable

No he can drive, but he does a lot of racing and highway drop and go
And i think it finally just gave out

No both the 3650 and the T56 use a 11in clutch and flywheel
Both will be interchangable

In fact he took out the 3650 because it was giving him so much problems and we put in a T45 but since he still has the stock 11in flywheel he still uses a 11in clutch

Im trying to get him to put in a spec II but for some reason he interested in cobra clutch.

What im worried about is if stock cobra would be worth putting in or is he just asking for more problems?
