'03 Cobra Front Bumper

Ok guys I got the idea from you guys to drill a new hole 1/4" behind the existing mounting hole for the cobra bumper. Now if I don't drill that hole will the bumper still mount in the front. Because if there is a little gap I don't mind that either. Thanks Guys.

yes it will, you'll just get a small gap. do the 1/4 thing tho , takes 5 min and matches perfectly your hood.

I was lookin' at it last night and I see that if I go 1/4" back it has a slight slope down, will that matter and the second question is that the bumper will it go back about a 1/4" with out me having to strectch it out or anything?

Look really good!! Much better than the stock GT front end. Looks like the way he did it works out well. I didn't see any gap, but you can see how it pulls up on the inner corners by the headlights.

i didnt even have to drill a hole for mine.....for some reason mine really just popped right on....it was wierd

It's not that there's a gap, it's that the bumper sticks up and physically prevents the hood from closing. Moving it back simply allows the hood to close.
