that is pretty much what I did. Minus the big smokey burn out.

although I never mentioned buying it. I stopped to look at one and the salesman offered to let me drive it within the first five minutes. Then he let told me to drive it up to the front of the lot while he went inside and grabbed some temp plates.

If I was evil, I could of just driven away.

I wound it out in 1st, 2nd, 3rd. and had to shut it down because it was approching 100 mph.

Before my paralysis I took out a brand new Eagle Talon and as we left the parking lot it was a bit uphill and slightly wet and we spun all 4 wheels about a half block before it caught traction and it was the dealers first day on the job.

Oh the memories of many a test drive and un-suspecting salesmen.

Ya I remember seeing that video awhile back and hearing that it was supposedly staged so who knows. Either way its still cool. As far as stupid salesmen go a few weeks ago I pulled up to a used Ford dealer in my piece of crap pickup and managed to take out a 97 cobra within about 5 min. when I had just pulled up to look at the car as I had seen it while driving by. I'm only 16 and told the guy I was 18, and he didnt ask for any paperwork or license or anything and we drove right off the lot. He let me wind it out pretty well and accidently tapped the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift . Theres still even some tire tracks on one of the roads where he told me to "go ahead and drop it". I was in complete shock as the only thing exciting I've ever driven is my brothers mustang around the block with him a few times. So we went back after about 15 min. and I told the guy I would talk things over with my parents and haven't talked to him since. Gotta love used car dealers.

Ha ya... well at least I'd driven my brothers car a bit and have had the priviledge of riding along in some race cars on the track, but no doubt I'm still very unexperienced. But hey tell me you wouldn't have done the same when you were 16?

Saw this months ago. Phony as a three-dollar bill . If you can't spot the bad acting in that clip, never mind - go back to your Steven Segal movie .
