ok as some of you might now i just recently acquired a 95 cobra. What car would be the best to for a nice streetable build up and still make 400 - 450 hp? Its kind of a trade off because i know both cars can make the power reliably. One has a weak point with the block the others week point is the internals!

Port the stock lower, throw on some (take your pick) aluminum heads, or port the stock GT40's, cam, blower, tune. You meet your requirements and have a very stout and reliable combo.

I also second the idea of doing a pretty straight forward HCI...or just porting the stock H/I. Throw an S trim or Novi on there...get a safe tune and call it a day!

Both of your cars can handle 450HP no problem. More like 450RWHP!!! Safe tune and good gas is all you need. I have been trouble free for 10,000 supercharged miles.

95 Cobra. I would buy a nice Edelbrock H/C/I package. Good headers, Prochamber H-pipe, an Flowmaster cat-back exhaust. This car will sound awesome!! In the future, I would suggest a Vortech S-trim with 8-10 pounds of boost and see where you stand. If you want more, go with 12-14 lbs and a good methanol injection kit to cool inlet temps and add increase octane so you don't have to run race gas.

03 GT. Looks like your GT runs good already, I didn't read you entire sig, just your 13.38 time. That is pretty fast for a midly modded 2V.

Either one could do it...

One car is older and one is newer...

An aftermarket block cost more than aftermarket internals...
