Hey fellas. I think I know the answer but wanted to ask. When I turn my key forward, no check engine light or abs or traction control light appear on the cluster on my mach 1. I have 2 codes pulled from computer. But the normal 420, 430 for x pipe. Do you think my car had been tuned. If so they didn't give me the tuner. Also when spinning the tites the green traction light dont come on. I checked fuse #5 for traction control but fuse was good.

The only thing I can figure is the bulbs are out. A tune won't turn off the lights at start up

Pull the cluster and check the bulbs. After 20 or so years, they could just be burned out

Thanks fellas
I'll give it a try. I'm on my 16th mustang. And for the record if the traction control is disabled that's a plus. Im almost sure it's disabled. I've tried a few pulls and spun the tires and it hasn't bogged down.

It's always possible. When I load the tune on my car the traction control indicator on the switch lights up to indicate it's off. But at start-up all the dash lights come on.

Interesting. I'll pull the bulbs. I've only had the mach 1 for a few weeks but am fully enjoying it. Going in the morn to get slp's put on. The x pipe is nice but it has Borla s type mufflers which are garbage.

I loved the Mach 1 when it came out. I even had a plan to put a shaker hood system on my 96 GT and call it a Moch 1. Lol.

I have SLP's on mine. Nice sound.
