04 Cobra?

Hello! my first post! I am seriously considering buying an 04 cobra. would appreciate an info, opinions (both good and bad) from everyone that has experience with these cars. I have read alot about them in the magazines, and almost all of what i read is excellent, except for the problems with "wheel-hop" due to the IRS. Am hoping for some "real-world" info for those of you that own a cobra. Thanks for your help.

I just traded in my '01 'vert for a '04 coupe. The car is awesome, very good power stock & responds well to basic mods. Yeah, wheelhop sucks but I had it with my '01 so it's no suprise to me, just do your best to avoid it. No bad things to say about the car so far, other than the car is quiet stock. I'll be putting a catback once I do a stock dyno after about 1000 miles. I only have around 400 miles on it now. With a '04 you will be getting the latest computer code, it is supposed to take care of the stall issue that some '03s had.

I would recommend the '04 Coba as long as you like the current body style as much if not more than the next one coming out.

I got my 04 and dynoed it at 300 miles.. hit 367/359.. I'll dyno again in about a month with first set of mods..
