04 coupe v6 question

looking into buying one and on the ford site vehicle locator some say for engine 3.8L EFI and some say 3.8L EFI OHV , he said one seemed faster and i diddnt think ford made 2 different 3.8L for mustangs

Anyone know it the engine marking is glitch on ford site or are they different engines?

It's the same engine. All the 3.8's have overhead valves. This is also known as a pushrod motor. Basically one of those sources is just including OHV to make it sound more appealing, but that's kinda like saying the car also comes standard with brakes and a steering wheel.

wasnt asking what a pushrod engine was , was asking if there was a difference in the engines with the difference of the markings.
