07 GT clutch noise.....

I have what sounds like a throw out bearing noise, you can hear a sort of whinning/growling noise with the clutch pedal released, it goes away when u engage the clutch pedal. Took it back to ford on a sat. and the service writer (no techs were there) said it was normal. doesn't really sound normal to me. anyone have any insight into this?

Mine does it a little. My 96 Cobra & 95 GT did it as well.

That's the sound of the clutch, pressure plate and input shaft spinning. When you depress the pedal they stop spinning and things quiet down. Mine does it.

Mine does it too. Kind of the opposite of a throw out bearing noise--only makes it when the clutch is NOT depressed.
