I'm already far enough out to get into the fender without rolling it. So yeah I would say 1" is plenty. How wide are your wheels?

They're 8" I believe, but I had 275 on my previous 8" wheels, so I'm going to see if 285 will fit. I'll probably have to roll my fenders since my car is lowered close to 2".

Ah... my wheels are 9" - just one more reason to keep the 4x4 stance for me.
