check your local criagslist... I've seen them in my area pretty cheap.... they almost give them away to get rid of them.... (the people that swapped to after market)I should be getting the car back relatively soon. If the height issue is not fixed I'll swap OEM k members. That's the cheapest route and it retains all the work I've already done although the front coil over suspension is a good price as well.
It's hard for me to justify dropping $2,000 on a MM k member.
That's my thinking. Why replace a bad k member with an OEM one when I can upgrade. The answer is the $2k price, but waiting a year will lessen the angst.If you are going to go through all that work...don’t put a stocker back in.

Well, my front quarter panels are different so that could be an indication of prior damage?I can’t imagibe a pothole doing that unless the spring coil binds. At that point the strut is blowing through the hood too. In fact, when you hit a pothole, the shock tower takes most of the force.
Only thing I can think of doing that is impact.
It’s the same scenario with my bent k member. One side is tweaked inwards. But my bumper and both febders have original VIN stamps and no sign of body work. It’s a mystery
