I put mine back in when I reinstalled my quarter glasses when I redid my car, just because it was there to begin with. I don't think you need em though.

FYI- Fox Restoration is raising the price on their quarter window glass restoration starting on 1 March.

"PRICE INCREASE! GET YOUR WINDOWS IN BEFORE 3/1/2020 TO AVOID THE PRICE INCREASE. NEW PRICE WILL BE $899.95, GLASS POLISHING AND INSTALLATION KIT INCLUDED, NOT OPTIONAL."

Apparently they are going to start offering it on hatchbacks as well. There’s a mailing list you can get on.

I imagine the highe price is due to demand and the fact the DCR windows got recalled

Going through the car front to back post paint to fix anything and then reinstalling the interior. Exterior emblems, cowl vent, antenna, windshield wipers and trunk pieces were a fairly quick job.

Good little fix if your door doesn't seem to close flush. Many times these plastic strikers are missing.

Working on my car in my garage and I can smell smoke and ash despite being 50 miles away. O city of Angels, you had me at "curfew". No thanks.

Fixed my glovebox mounted trunk release switch today utilizing the Stangnet sourced "1988 Mustang Electrical & Vacumm Trouble-Shooting Manual". This website has been a godsend.

What? WHAT!
I've been sitting here waiting to find out what was wrong with it and how you fixed it and just post up ' I fixed my trunk mounted release button' (he says in a squeaky, nasely voice),
That's ok, just wait till you need to know how to fix loose spark plugs cause I ain't tell'n.
