Good Afternoon!

I have an issue that cannot be plaguing just me ...

I bought a 12v accessory that I need to use in the socket in the dashboard. Unfortunately, because that socket is mounted about 1/2" deep into the dash, the accessory won't even power.

Has anyone either found something that will extend the shaft length of the accessory itself, or something that can be placed into the socket to extend it to the level of the dash? I don't want a corded extension cable as that will look horrible and would mean I would have to figure out a way to run the cable behind the dash and mount the device.

I appreciate any assistance you can give!
