I doubt it will last long with that kind of abuse.

7500 RPM?

I think the 150 shot will be ok, as long as its a wet shot.

Generally the rule is only spray half of the engines normal Hp, so if you have a stock engine 215 hp, or so, then you should only spray 100 hp max. wet or dry. unless you specifically build the engine with lower comp. and build the botom end to with stand higher hp.

This guy shifts @ 7500 in a '05 Mustang GT, you sure thats right?

If he is using the stock plugs they are likely to be destroyed before he goes through the lights. Since he is tuning his own engine there is a good chance he will do some more damage than just to the plugs.

Your friend not so smart a guy.

125 is the highest I've done and had fuel delivery problems. A friend ran a 150 shot and melted the ground straps off 4 of his spark plugs.

he says he forgets to shift until he's at 7500 rpm. although he is not the most reliable storyteller. i ran him sun. and his exhaust was kicking out black smoke when it was time to shift. he also said he added 40% fuel with the diablo tuner, that sounded a little strange to me.

Did you see the thread on "Intermittant Detonation" ???

N2o is just drugs for your engine...

Install N2o on an engine that experiences detonation "anytime" and you can kiss your pistons and maybe your engine good-bye...

There is no way he is even reaching 7500 RPM unless he he totally got rid of the rev limiter doing his own tune. The stock rev limiter is around 6500 and most tuners raise it to like 6700 - 6900 RPM.

Well, maybe this guy can't.. but you guys don't think a stock block can handle a 150hp shot?

Given a proper tune for it, possibly might need to upgrade the fuelp pump and injectors.. I still theink the bottom end would hold up if it doesnt detonate and has enough fuel
