17 inch Pony R's or Saleen SC's?????

I'm looking to get some rims for my 1988 Mustang GT Scarlet Red with red interior. I've narrowed it down to the Pony R's or the Saleen SC style chrome of course.
17x8's in front and 17x9's in rear. Which ones guys???? Anyone have a Scarlet red car with either rims? Pictures?? Thanks!

I have some 17x10 Pony Rs with 315/35 DR on my notch.. with stock 16 up front, but will be getting 17 Rs for the front once I dropped my engine back into it.

The Chrome 17x10" R's look pretty sick, especially on GTs.
