I finally ghetto rigged an intercooler on my Merkur and today i turned up the boost to 17psi...and WOW is there a big difference between 15psi with no intercooler and 17psi with an intercooler.

I posted these in the 2.3 section but here they are again in all their ghetto glory

The big white check valve is gone now and the bypass valve is ran back down to in front of the air meter. For being a small intercooler mounted in a crappy location, it sure does make a huge difference. I did a run past my driveway and my buddy said it looked like it was trying to pull the front wheels off the ground..lol

Yeah that intercooler he made is insane. I'm gonna be using one of those Volvo cores but i couldn't fit 3 deep if i wanted to.
