i can get 2 17x9 bullits for $100, should i get them and put drag radials on them, or would i be better off getting some 15-16 inch wheels for the track?
I just did exactly what you are considering. I purchased two 17 x 9 Bullitt rims (made by Detroit Wheels, purchased for $129 each new from Jegs) and also purchased Nitto 275/40/17. I haven't hit the track yet with this combo, but I am tomorrow night. I went with the bullitt rims because I really like the somewhat stealthy look of the bullitts. The Detroit Wheels bullitts are extremely close to the stock bullitts that came on my 01 GT.
For $100, I'd definitely do it unless you are serious into the drag racing. If you are exclusivly into hooking up and could care less about looks, go for some cheap V6 rims or cheap, used drag rims.
