Yeah I know this has been asked 100000 times but I havnt got a honest answer yet..converting my 90 notch to 5 lug and the plan was to get 18x8's all around..but will I have a rubbing issue in front or back? Thanks
depends on the wheels you run, the length of your axles, fox width or SN95 Lenght, same goes for front. I'm running 17x8 bullits all the way around on 245s, and I had to roll the rear fender well "SN95 axle width", and ran 94-95 spindles up front, "keeps stock fox track width." you'll have rubbing on the inside frame rail maybe but thats just there and can't do anything about that. If you run SN95 width front and rear it makes the track width 3/4 wider on each side, just FYI.
A friend of mine just got some fr500s 18x9 inch on the front and 18x10.5 in the rears. He has the fox length ranger axles and it fits on his coupe. Not sure of his offset but he did have to flip the quad. Not sure if his wheel wells were rolled or any rubbing. He just got them.

I have 18x9 on all 4 corners. 255/35/18 up front 275/35/18 out back. Slight rubbing at full lock in the front. Backs are fine. Did not have to roll the lip or touch the quads. Offset of my rims are 25mm.
Car is lowered 1.75 inches all around. 94 Spindles in the front, Fox length rear track width.
I did the '94-'95 SN95 front brakes and ranger drums out back, and fit 18x8's up front and 18x9's out back with no issues on my '93 coupe. Quad shocks were removed of course. Can't remember the exact offset of the wheels; this is where you will have to do some figuring. Figure out exactly what offset you need before buying anything.
I think '90-'93's or '91-'93's had elongated wheel openings in the fenders, allowing you to run a wider wheel without rubbing; not sure where the cutoff was.
im about to purchase the 5 lug cobra r brake kit...hmm well i can get 17's also but i was wanting the 18's both are 8 wide.what offset does your rims have Nkau?
I ran 18in cobra R's on my 87GT with a 245/40ZR18 Dunlop SP sport 9000 tire and my car was lowered and the ONLY time they rubbed was if i turned the wheel all the way. Other then that no issues.
Just to give you and idea, I put my Y2K 18X9.5 Cobra R's off my 00GT on my 91LX with SN-95 spindles on the front and SN-95 axles with disk brakes on the rear with 275/35/18. The rear wheels would stick out past the fenders a bit along with the front.
