i know i know i know what you guys are going to say..but i cant find a wide wheel for this type of rim..i was looking for some chrome 18inch deep dish wheel that were not the bulitts and this is all i found, but i love em.

heres the link: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/d...source=vehicle&index=9&productCodeIndex=50243

i plan on ordering these tommorow and getting a set of 245/40/18 for the front..and 275/40/18 for the back..ive seen pics of a 8inch rim on a 275 tire..and it doesnt bulge that much like people say..especially with nittos..im getting the nitto nt555 extremes..will this work ok?or should i drop down and get some 265/35/18's?let me know..i do plan on getting the rear wheels widened so this is a temporary setup.

245/40/18 will be fine for the front, but 275/40/18 is too tall for the rear. 275/35/18 would be the stock tire diameter. If you can find a wheel thats at least 8.5" wide it would fit a 275 better for the rear.

well i cant find a wheel thats 8.5, so this is my only option for now till i get these rims widened..wheels that are deep dish chrome in 18inch diameter are made by companys like 5-zigen,hre,and asanti..cheapest these wheels go are for $625-$1100 for ONE wheel..because they are 3piece..but anyways..in a nitto tire size..what would be the better fit on a 18x8 wheel for the rear.. 275/40/18 or 275/35/18??..if needed, i can do a 265/35/18..would that fit better?

like i said, 275/40/18 is too tall.. Some people run it but it will mess up your speedometer. 265/35/18 should be fine. I run it in front. pics in sig, page 11

The 275/40 18s will be almost exactly 1" taller than stock. That will definitely have a noticeable affect on your speedo. The 265/35s will actually be shorter than stock, but only by 1/3". Nothing to severe.
