1965 mustang fog lamp... help?

Ok, so heres the story, i dont know why my last underdash wire harnes had a melt down, maybe you could help with that, it was the back w/ green stripe wire that shorted.

Anyways, i got a used wire harness from ebay, it doesnt have any fog lamp hook ups, i bought the fog lamp wire kit but i have no idea how to do this. if anyone has a direct link to a diagram and could give me a step by step it would be a great help. Some wiring harnesses don't allow for the fog lights to automatically turn on the tail lights which was the way it came factory.

Go to the CJ Pony Parts (tech writeups) for a step by step write up. I also did one that might help if you do a search.

The search button is your friend .


Before you do anything, I'd recommend figuring it out why the original harness had a problem in the first place, otherwise you might fry another one and be no closer to what you want.

Also, any mustang vendor will have a wiring diagram for the whole car for $15.

If you plan on keeping the car, I'd definitely get the shop manual. Not the chiltons or haynes, the shop manual.
