I painted the stripes on the rear bumper

Brian wet sanded the body

We are going to put it out in the sun for a few days to get all the solvents out.

I love the color! Just had a very similar one put on my '67, as in just this weekend. In my case it is a PPG color-match of a Lexus code from 2015 called "Sonic Titanium or something like that. If you'd have told me 40 years ago that I'd put Toyota paint on my classic Stang I would have called you a liar

Only have two bad pics so far but enough to update the blog...

Dynamat

Changed the wheels

Power windows

Painted the bumper and lined up

Test fitting the battery and radiator

Test fitting the Mustang to Fear console

Amp mounted under the package tray

We could not find a power brake booster that would clear the hydraulic clutch master cylinder so we went with the Hydratech Braking System.

We still could not get the hydraulic clutch master cylinder to clear but found one from Modern Drive line that clears. Talked to Hydratech and they said have never had a problem but there was no way it would clear on our car. Looked at a couple of other 65 - 66 Mustangs in the shop and found that the aftermarket firewall on our project was not the same as the original one and that was our problem.

It's a tight fit but clears

The 347 engine was started on a test stand with a carburetor to check for any leaks or problems

Installing the engine

We still have to install the transmission

Holley Sniper EFI and JBA headers. The plug wires will be changed to black Ford Racing
