my husband has a 69 mach 1 r-code. it is missing the front end no fenders no grill no bumper no windshield wippers ect... can you use the front end of a 1969 coupe to replace the stuff taken off and lost to drag racing. the coupe has a 351 and the mach 1 has a 428 cj. any help would be great. he got the car from his decesed brother and would like to get it fixed up. thanks

I don't think there is a difference in the body pannels on the front 1/2 of the car between coupes and fast backs. I know the rear pieces are different. The hood might be different if he has the shaker option or a scoop.

Well, just to clarify your clarification  the windshield in 69-70 is the same for Hardtops, Fastbacks and Convertibles. Only the glue on mirror brackets are different AFAIK. But the question was about the front clip anyway so ... ;)

NO! The 69-70 fastback uses a unique windshield! The coupe and convertible were the same, but the roof was 1" lower in the fastback, and the coupe/convertible will NOT fit the fastback.

This was also true for 71-73.

ALL 69/70 fastback glass is unique to the fastback body because the roof geometry is different including "A" pillar angle. Just wanted to make sure the OP was aware of it.
