Wait....you're not keeping those wheels?
Where did you get that? I'm keeping them for now.

I'm not repainting them though, I'm not stripping and polishing them, I'm not powder coating them either.

These things are 125.00-149.00 ea. wheels new. ANYTHING I do to them at this juncture is a Gigantic waste of time and money.

I looked this morning just to get an idea of what kind of expenditure I'm in for when I decided to change them though.

2k. for a custom ordered, custom back spaced 2 pc.billet wheel set.

It's gonna be awhile.

I'll paint Melvin black, I'm going to put the gold stripe on the rest of the wheels ( Though it makes little difference),
and run them for the foreseeable future. Maybe once they're on the car?.....

Black Melvins, and just let them be until you get new wheels. Not trying to be a d*ck, but the flat black makes me think of cheap asses that plasti dip their stock wheels flat black. It was worth a try, but I agree that it should not be the final look of the Monster.
What's wrong with plastidip? I happen to think my cheap ass rims look just fine thank you.

I got an idea. Let's see what they look like on the car..
Now THAT is a damn good Idea....

Not just yet my friend,....interior,...door wiring,...door panels, TLJK,....sway bar end links,...where the hell the engine oil leak is coming from,.....

Then.....

We'll see.

I got me a car, it seats about twenty...:rlaugh:

When your family is damn near twenty, it works! Lets also keep in mind boys, I didnt buy a minivan, the car has twice the hp/tq as many folks cars on this forum. Back up off me!

Including sell them,
and buy a Chrysler,....

That's big as a Whale, and about to set sail...........

Hey, the bright side is, I dont have to finish that Mustang hood after all. It can just stay wall art where it hangs. :spot:

What're you doing today Mike? Tell Kate, "Dave says hey".
It's Saturday,.....I'm a Genius.
I'm thinking this is a sad case of someone missing a song reference and getting butthurt.

@madmike1157
Oh,...you just have to consider the source....He's not butthurt,.....he just doesn't like how hot it is in Mike's Kitchen.

For the record,...I'm gonna try to paint (dye) the interior pieces tomorrow. I've been grubbin' around,...turns out that I don't seem to have rocker sill plates anymore. (I think mine were garbage) Fairmont sill plates are different than Mustang (I think) CAN SOMEBODY MEASURE THEIR MUSTANG SILL PLATES FOR ME?

I'm also missing a dome light housing. Again,....IDK if a Mustang dome light is that different from mine,...but I need one. I have to make a package tray. (Down here it's called.........(did you guess yet?).......a hat rack)

I mean,.....they still call it a hat rack. WHO THE HELL PUTS A HAT BACK THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE???It's a southern thing I guess.......Shopping carts are called buggies,....and a garden hose is a hose pipe....You don't get ready to go somewhere,...you "fix to". You don't have somebody call you,...you have him to call you. You don't press a button,...you mash it. You don't go to Walmart,...you go to THE Walmart.

Where the hell did these people get this stuff from???
