Cold coffee is a hanging offense and anyone who intentionally drinks iced coffee should be sent to a Siberian gulag.

I must clarify, I'm talking about coffee sitting in my stove top percolator that's been there since the morning that I just can't be bothered to warm up.

Iced coffee should be illegal.

Well,...now that we’re past how each of us prefers our coffee...I attempted external pan fix v1 using a JB weld steel stick.

Cleaned the pan real well and kneaded the piss out of the epoxy ( kinda feel like a cat). Once properly mixed, I blobbed the phck out of the corner of the pan with that sht...

Then went drinking.....

After returning two hours later, I filled the pan with the same oil that’s been in that pan 3 times now......

And tomorrow, we’ll have a look.
As of tonight,....I’m dry as a .....( insert appropriate crude reference point here)

That corner on the bottom is where the hanging chad will appear if this stuff fails to stop the leak...for now,..I’m good.

Is that putty sandable when it’s cured, or is it just goin to be the IDGAF point to the custom pan?

Are you kidding? If I go down there and there is no dripping oil off the corner, that sht will stay exactly like it is. If you think that I care one sniglet of an ounce about what the back corner of an oil pan looks like at this juncture, you don’t know what it’s like to be on the 4th time doing something.

But to answer your question...Of course it’s sandable. If/when I ever have to remove the whole engine again, I’ll sand it.....Off.
Then weld the piss out of it, and leak check the whole freakin pan.

JB weld has kept my Canton oil pan sealed for the last couple years. They had a pinhole in the weld. I ain't messin' wit it.

And that was the case with me..missed a pinhole that was at the top of the sump. Now that I’ve blobbed that steel stick on there, it’s not leaking.
So,...I’m gonna say...FFN.

Fixed
For
Now.

As an FYI.

I decided to fill the fuel cell I bought with foam. It’s 12” wide, 9” deep, and 30” long. Foam sticks are 4 x 6 x 14. When you do the math, it’s gonna take 8 sticks to fill the cell with foam.

The sticks are 20.00 bucks each from Summit. In other words, almost 160.00 to fill the cell.
I bought 4.
Whether to just line the floor, or fill up one side became the objective. In the end, I jammed 4 sticks into the end wher the pump was..and went on the hunt for the other 4.

Everywhere I looked they were the same price. Until I came across Speedway in Lincoln Nebraska. Waaayyy back when, I used to work for for a company that was partnered with Speedway out of Lincoln. Omaha wheel and Rim/ One stop performance......way back in the late 70s....I’m not sure, but I think they are gone...Clearly, Speedway has survived and prospered.

When you buy Fuel cell foam from Speedway,...You get a pack of 6 sticks for 58 bucks....When they get here.....they are a little less dense.....But who gives a fck?.....these are all going to live their lives inside an aluminum box.

6/58= 10.00.

Half Eddie.

On other fronts...Trump sucks ass.

On even other fronts...it’s Mikes off day tomorrow. They are working on my street tomorrow. It‘s a one way in, one way out. Once they start working, nobody gets in or out of this neighborhood tomorrow. Bottom line.I aint goin nowhere after 8 Am. Despite that, I’m set to make big inroads tomorrow. I’m not making plans.....I’m just gonna do.

Hopefully I get more done than I hope.

No way in or out, ummmm. Ok, that means you can't cut any major arteries or start a fire you can't put out with the garden hose. Good luck.

You guy's need to stop pointing out his spelling mistakes, save it for when he puts his grammar police hat on then we can point out his misspellings.
