Are you sure its not Monster placenta ???

I'd be interested to know what the temp of your returning fuel actually is.

The fuel pump being clogged is probably a non issue ( answered my own question ). No fuel pressure drop while running until it cuts out, correct ?

Aeromotive has worked well for me in the past.

Mike, when I did my line lock several years ago I was told that the Summit piece was a rebranded Hurst. I went through 3 of them before going to the look a like Hurst. It has been on the car 5 years without issue.

Can't speak for the fuel pumps, but maybe it will work.

I know somewhere in this 300+ page monster autobiography is the answer to this question but here go's anyway
Why did you not use a submersible pump, didn't make one to fit at the time? Too expensive?

Take cover!:hide:

No,...that's a fair question. I don't like the premise. It seems crazy to me to bury the pump inside the tank and force a potential tank drop if/when something like this happens. The pump that's currently on the car IS submersible. I'm hesitant to do that because I'd be putting it in there w/o the benefit of some sort of inlet screen...(Never looked to see it they make one for something like this) .and I'd have to figure a way to mount the damn thing

It's ok, he's in a good mood today.

And,....you know this how?

Are you sure its not Monster placenta ???
That's what that looked like. I'm pretty sure that I have everything that could clog the pre-filter out of the tank,..besides if the filter was clogged,..It would've probably never restarted.

Couldn't say for sure....I can't see the gauge. It's under the hood.

It was always my go to. I've used their stuff on every other car except the last two..The red car had a Holley HP125 because it was carb'd, But the Monster has summit junk.

I'll just change the pump over to that red Aeromotive piece and see what happens. If it stops then I know it was the pump. If it happens again,.then I have other issues w/ cavitation, and slosh. (Maybe I'll try to deal with that too at the same time)

It's a little over a week actually. The 29th is my last day.
I go in for some kind of "joint class" followed by some tests today. I'd guess that the joint class is gonna try and tell me that I can't work on the monster if it involves kneeling...

The nerve....Telling me that I can't work on my creation..:nonono:

I gotta make time to box up the stuff I wanna send back for exchange, and get that done before the work week starts...I'd like to have the new pump in my hand before weeks end...Sunday will be my last and only day to install it.
( I don't know why that's a big deal,..by the following Wednesday, I won't even be able to drive the car, much less work on it.)
Probably won't care to either..

But I can certainly work on the irony regardless of the knees....That to me is the real funny part.

Ever looked at my "Like vs Message count?"

How do you get to 8300 likes when you're such a prick?

I wonder what kind of "Noobz Special Badge" I'll get when the message and like counts "eclipse" each other this week?....

I'll go get my special glasses,...I wanna be sure that I don't hurt my eyes..

Noobz is building a 'I'm a special prick' badge as we speak, or type in this case.
We had a club a couple of years ago. There were levels of prick-dom.

1. Casually Inconsiderate
2. PIT (Prick in Training)
3. Prick 2nd Class (or Butterbar Prick)
4. Prick
5. Man! is that guy a prick or what Prick.
6. Shao-Lin Prick

I'm the only one that I know that has reached the 5th level...I'm working on my technique to get to the last level,........But I gotta lift this cast iron chest full of red hot coals w/ my forearms to open the gate to go out into the world and spread my prick trainin teachings when I'm done w/ that......And I don't take well to burns..They hurt.

So maybe I just stay a level 5 for now.

I used to like fuel cell foam...until I had that stuff start breaking down after a couple years. If you think that red stuff was a pain you haven't experienced trying to get that dang old foam out of a fuel cell.

I'm not quite sure what the "like fest" is all about, And this will be the first time that I've opened this page, and had 133 flags..
But some of you guys ( Dave) need more stuff to do during the day.

There's gotta be a punch line to all of the fake likes....

I'm game.
They're not fake Mikey, I really do like you......
